Kellogg Community College allows current KCC employees to check out certain software to use at home for work purposes. To view the available software please click here

Acceptable Use Policy
Kellogg Community College (KCC) owns and operates a variety of computer systems (hardware, software and networks), which are provided for the use of Kellogg Community College students, faculty, staff, and community users in support of the programs of the College and are to be used for education, research, academic development, and public service only. Commercial uses are specifically excluded. All students, faculty, staff, and community users are responsible for seeing that these computing facilities are used in an effective, efficient, ethical, and lawful manner. This document establishes the rules and prohibitions that define acceptable use of these systems. Unacceptable use is prohibited, and is grounds for loss of computing and/or account privileges subject to college policy and/or legal sanctions under Federal, State, and local laws. Due to insurance limitations and warranties, I.S. Help desk Staff are not allowed to configure patron laptop computers or other devices or to install any devices or software onto patron equipment. IS Help desk Staff are not able to provide technical assistance for wireless configuration; if assistance is required, patron should contact their equipment manufacturer or vendor. KCC provides secure wireless Internet access for student and employee use at several locations on main campus and regional centers. These locations are clearly identified by blue “Wireless Networking Available” signs. To access the wireless network at any location, you will first need to set up your machine, there are links below for instructions. Access will require log in to the wireless network with your “k”id (or “m”id) and Universal Password, the same one you use for the Kellogg Community College or (Miller College) portal. You are now able to print from your laptop to specific Lab Printers at the various campuses, logging into the WebAdvantage Suite with your K-ID# and universal password. Click here to learn more on wireless printing.
